I am honored to be inducted into the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) – Northeastern Chapter, a distinction that celebrates impactful research, intellectual property, and technological advancements.

Innovation isn’t confined to engineering and science—design plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology, patents, and interdisciplinary breakthroughs. As a designer and researcher, I believe in pushing the boundaries of traditional invention, bridging creativity with cutting-edge research to drive meaningful change.

This recognition reaffirms the importance of design-driven intellectual property (IP) and the contributions of the School of Design to the broader innovation ecosystem. I look forward to furthering this dialogue and advocating for a more inclusive definition of invention—one where design, science, and technology seamlessly converge.
